Gilberto Tadeu Lima

Gil­ber­to Tadeu Lima is a full pro­fes­sor in the Depart­ment of Eco­no­mics at the Scho­ol of Eco­no­mics, Busi­ness Admi­nis­tra­ti­on, Accoun­ting, and Actu­a­ri­al Sci­en­ce at the Uni­ver­sity of São Pau­lo and holds a Ph.D. in Eco­no­mics from the Uni­ver­sity of Notre Dame (USA). He is a Pro­duc­ti­vity in Rese­ar­ch Fel­low (Level 1A, the highest level) at the Nati­o­nal Coun­cil for Sci­en­ti­fic and Tech­no­lo­gi­cal Deve­lop­ment (CNPq) and an Asso­ci­a­te Edi­tor for the inter­na­ti­o­nal jour­nals Metro­e­co­no­mi­ca and Jour­nal of Post Key­ne­si­an Eco­no­mics. His rese­ar­ch focu­ses on macrody­na­mics, pri­ma­rily in eco­no­mic growth and deve­lop­ment. His scho­larly arti­cles are published in seve­ral nati­o­nal and inter­na­ti­o­nal jour­nals. He also revi­ews vari­ous Bra­zi­li­an and inter­na­ti­o­nal jour­nals, inclu­ding the Cam­brid­ge Jour­nal of Eco­no­mics, Struc­tu­ral Chan­ge and Eco­no­mic Dyna­mics, His­tory of Poli­ti­cal Eco­nomy, Revi­ew of Key­ne­si­an Eco­no­mics, Jour­nal of Evo­lu­ti­o­nary Eco­no­mics, Eco­no­mic Model­ling, and Eas­tern Eco­no­mic Jour­nal. He revi­ews pro­jects for CNPq, Capes, and FAPESP. He has recei­ved nume­rous awards, inclu­ding the EAE­PE-Kapp Pri­ze 2019 from the Euro­pe­an Asso­ci­a­ti­on of Evo­lu­ti­o­nary Poli­ti­cal Eco­nomy and the 2013 Eco­no­mics Pri­ze from the Minis­try of Finance.
