Rafa­el Sau­lo Mar­ques Ribei­ro is an Adjunct Pro­fes­sor of Eco­no­mics at the Faculty of Eco­no­mic Sci­en­ces (FACE) and the Cen­ter for Regi­o­nal Deve­lop­ment and Plan­ning (CEDEPLAR) at the Fede­ral Uni­ver­sity of Minas Gerais (UFMG). He holds a Ph.D. from the Uni­ver­sity of Cam­brid­ge, Uni­ted King­dom. He is also a Level 2 Pro­duc­ti­vity in Rese­ar­ch Fel­low at the Nati­o­nal Coun­cil for Sci­en­ti­fic and Tech­no­lo­gi­cal Deve­lop­ment (CNPq). He cur­ren­tly coor­di­na­tes the Gra­du­a­te Pro­gram in Eco­no­mics at CEDEPLAR. He is an asso­ci­a­te mem­ber of the Cam­brid­ge Cen­tre for Eco­no­mic and Public Policy (CCEPP) at the Uni­ver­sity of Cam­brid­ge, Uni­ted King­dom. His rese­ar­ch has been published in vari­ous nati­o­nal and inter­na­ti­o­nal jour­nals. He is also a revi­ewer for seve­ral Bra­zi­li­an and inter­na­ti­o­nal jour­nals. His main rese­ar­ch inte­rests are macro­e­co­no­mic the­ory, sta­tis­ti­cal, and eco­no­me­tric models.
