Gilberto Tadeu Lima is a Full Professor of Economics at the University of São Paulo. He obtained his PhD in Economics at the University of Notre Dame (EUA). He is a member of the advisory board of the Metroeconomica journal. His research is focused on the field of macro dynamics, especially on issues related to economic growth and development. His work has been published in several national and international journals, such as the Cambridge Journal of Economics and the Journal of Post Keynesian Economics. He received a series of awards for his performance, including the EAEPE-Kapp Prize 2019, from the European Association of Evolutionary Political Economy.
