Eco­no­mist at the Inter-Uni­on Depart­ment of Sta­tis­tics and Soci­o­e­co­no­mic Stu­di­es (DIEESE), subs­ti­tu­te pro­fes­sor at the Sta­te Uni­ver­sity of San­ta Cata­ri­na (UDESC). Holds a PhD Eco­no­mics from the Fede­ral Uni­ver­sity of Rio Gran­de do Sul (UFRGS), a Mas­ter’s and Bache­lor’s degree in Eco­no­mics from the same ins­ti­tu­ti­on. She is a spe­ci­a­list in Gen­der Analy­sis from Ame­ri­can Uni­ver­sity. She is a colum­nist for the por­tal Demo­cra­cia e Mun­do do Tra­ba­lho em Deba­te – DMT, mem­ber of the Cen­ter for Stu­di­es, Rese­ar­ch and Exten­si­on in Femi­nist Eco­no­mics at the Faculty of Eco­no­mic Sci­en­ces of UFRGS (NECOFEM) and the Bra­zi­li­an Network of Femi­nist Eco­no­mics (Rebef). Rese­ar­ch focus is femi­nist eco­no­mics, the job mar­ket, eco­no­mic deve­lop­ment, the Bra­zi­li­an eco­nomy, femi­nism and gen­der and race rela­ti­ons, with publi­ca­ti­ons and par­ti­ci­pa­ti­on in nati­o­nal and inter­na­ti­o­nal events.
