Economist at the Inter-Union Department of Statistics and Socioeconomic Studies (DIEESE), substitute professor at the State University of Santa Catarina (UDESC). Holds a PhD Economics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the same institution. She is a specialist in Gender Analysis from American University. She is a columnist for the portal Democracia e Mundo do Trabalho em Debate – DMT, member of the Center for Studies, Research and Extension in Feminist Economics at the Faculty of Economic Sciences of UFRGS (NECOFEM) and the Brazilian Network of Feminist Economics (Rebef). Research focus is feminist economics, the job market, economic development, the Brazilian economy, feminism and gender and race relations, with publications and participation in national and international events.
