Aman­da Resen­de holds a master’s degree in Eco­no­mics from the Uni­ver­sity of São Pau­lo (USP). She is a rese­ar­cher at the Cen­ter for Rese­ar­ch in Macro­e­co­no­mics of Ine­qua­li­ti­es (Made/­FEA-USP). She has a bachelor’s degree in Eco­no­mics from the Fede­ral Uni­ver­sity of Rio de Janei­ro (UFRJ) and a bachelor’s degree in Law with an empha­sis on Sta­te and Soci­ety from the Pon­ti­fi­cal Catho­lic Uni­ver­sity of Rio de Janei­ro (PUC-Rio). Her are­as of inte­rest inclu­de poli­ti­cal eco­nomy, femi­nist eco­no­mics, macro­e­co­no­mics and deve­lop­ment focu­sing on Latin Ame­ri­ca, public bud­ge­ting, public policy and soci­al pro­tec­ti­on, ine­qua­lity, and femi­nist and deco­lo­ni­al perspectives.
