Ana Bot­te­ga Lima is a doc­to­ral can­di­da­te in Eco­no­mics at the Uni­ver­sity of São Pau­lo (USP). In 2023, she was a visi­ting scho­lar at Prin­ce­ton University’s Indus­tri­al Rela­ti­ons Sec­ti­on and Cam­brid­ge University’s Cen­tre of Latin Ame­ri­can Stu­di­es. She will be a visi­ting scho­lar at UC Ber­ke­ley for the 2024–2025 aca­de­mic year. Her rese­ar­ch inte­rests inclu­de public sec­tor eco­no­mics, deve­lop­ment, and the inter­sec­ti­on of the­se fields with labor eco­no­mics. She cur­ren­tly works as a con­sul­tant for the inter­na­ti­o­nal taxa­ti­on agen­da of Brazil’s G20 Pre­si­dency at the Minis­try of Finance.
