
Pedro Romero Marques is an economist and researcher with a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of São Paulo (FEA/USP). He is currently the Co-Director of the Center for Macroeconomics of Inequalities (Made). His work focuses on Macroeconomics, Political Economy, and the Brazilian Economy, with an emphasis on inequality and, more recently, climate transition. His research explores the dynamics of distributive conflict in Brazil, the effects of fiscal policy on inequality, and the intersections between economic development and sustainability. His publications include articles in journals such as the Cambridge Journal of Economics and the Review of Political Economy, as well as book chapters on these topics.
