Mari­na San­ches holds a PhD in Eco­no­mics from the Uni­ver­sity of São Pau­lo (USP) with a visi­ting peri­od at Ame­ri­can Uni­ver­sity in Washing­ton, DC, a master’s degree in Eco­no­mics from USP, and a bachelor’s degree in Eco­no­mics from the Uni­ver­sity of Bra­sí­lia (UnB). She is par­ti­cu­larly inte­res­ted in Macro­e­co­no­mics, focu­sing on the rela­ti­onship betwe­en inco­me dis­tri­bu­ti­on and eco­no­mic growth. She is an asso­ci­a­te rese­ar­cher at the Cen­ter for Rese­ar­ch in Macro­e­co­no­mics of Ine­qua­li­ti­es (Made) at FEA/USP.
